The step by step below is execute on Windows XP using sha1sum software for Windows to check Fedora 10 iso image.
1. Download or view the sha1sum form download server. The example below show the SHA1SUM file for Fedora 10 iso image.

2. Download sha1sum software for windows at:
http://lists.gnupg.org/pipermail/gnupg-announce/2004q4/000184.html
3. Change working directory to the jigdo software folder that we have the Linux Fedora 10 Fedora-10-i386-DVD.iso and the sha1sum.exe sha1sum software tool..

4. Verify that all the files need exist inside the folder., use dir command as example below

5. Wait until the sha1sum checksum display on the screen, as show on example below .......................... then.........

6. Compare the sha1sum checksum that you get on the screen from the SHA1SUM that you get from the download server. If the two key matching, the iso image is good... if not ... try download the iso image again.
